How to Play Craps with the Best Odds of Winning The Ultimate Guide to Craps Craps Rules Craps Odds for Beginners eBook Donald Schuler
This book, unfortunately, "for Beginners", was written by a beginner, it seems. Many of the statements about Craps are incorrect. For example, he describes the Don't Pass bet as "the complete opposite" of the Pass, completely ignoring the fact that, if it were, it would have a player advantage. He fails to mention the "Bar 12" on these bets, meaning that the Pass loses on a comeout 12, but the Don't Pass DOESN'T WIN; it's a "push". This is an extremely basic fact, and he doesn't even know it. His example illustrating the Pass bet shows a seven, after a point has been made, losing the bet. This is also completely wrong.Worst of all, he describes the "free odds" bets and recommends them, yet later he classifies the pass, don't pass, come and don't come bets as "Bets to Avoid". Apparently, he doesn't even know that the player cannot place a "free odds" bet without having at least a minimum bet on the line, whether it's pass, don't pass, come or don't come.
His money-management advice is to "pocket" your original bankroll "the moment you start winning". No clarification is provided. Does this mean that, if you win your first bet you should pocket your original bankroll and try to play with just one bet's winnings? He doesn't say.
This book is worse than useless, because much of it would have to be un-learned to actually understand the game of craps.

How to Play Craps with the Best Odds of Winning The Ultimate Guide to Craps Craps Rules Craps Odds for Beginners eBook Donald Schuler Reviews
Basic book, gave me what I needed to know.
Too brief, and much shorter than I expected. I've read better.
It has the most fundamental basics, overall very little content.
Cool book that really informed me about
some neat fundamentals and tactics to
help me out with craps. Over all i enjoyed
the book along with all the gold nuggets in it
I've wanted to learn to play craps for a while so I decided to give this book a shot. This book is a great starter as it covers things from the history of craps to positions, odds and bets. I don't know that I'll be an craps pro or anything, but I'm definitely ready to play a game!
I'm heading to Vegas soon and I'm glad to have purchased this book and read it in time for the trip. It provides a concise summary of the game of craps, basically everything you need to know to get started and move beyond. How to place all the different bets, ‘come’ line, ‘pass’ line, etc., and how to increase your chances by maximizing your odds (placing bets on top of your bets).
Craps is one of those games I always avoided in the casino because I never bothered to learn it. Then I picked up some beginners guidebook and I learned the rules. And that didn't go so good – I lost more money than I planned.
But, I recently came across this book about craps and decided to remind myself of basic rules and odds so I can try again. I must say that this book helped me more than previous ones. It is just written in the understandable manner and it is very easy to grasp everything that you need. I figured out what I was doing wrong before and I have more success after this. I won't become a millionaire with this book or craps, but it is good enough to have some fun and win something from time to time. I recommend it if you are looking for something simple and basic to get you started.
